Graduate in Law and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with over 40 years’ experience at senior leadership levels with functional experience in legal and HR and strong exposure to business, leadership and organizational development roles in Mahindra & Mahindra Group, Britannia Industries Limited, DEC, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard and Team Lease. Currently, on the Board of a couple of companies and focuses on HR & Leadership consulting and on Executive coaching.

ZARIR BATLIWALA

30 years of experience in senior leadership roles in risk, corporate governance, financial crime prevention and external relations across varied industries like banking, financial services, IT /ITES & manufacturing besides National Security & Intelligence. Set up risk, governance and intelligence functions for 6 large global corporations in India. Served as member of the Executive leadership council for large American Companies in India. Till recently, was head of ethics & business integrity for the Reliance group managing conduct risks & the whistleblowing program.

Post Graduate in Applied and Professional Ethics from the University of Leeds, UK, Certified Corporate Director from The Institute of Directors with over 30 years in diverse industries. Worked in senior leadership positions in NIIT Ltd., Hewlett Packard, Schneider Electric and TeamLease Services. Currently, with the Centre for Corporate Governance and Citizenship, IIM Bangalore as a part-time consultant and researcher working on projects in the area of Corporate Governance and Ethics and associated with POSH committees of several companies.
